Entrepreneurship is one of the clearest ways creativity becomes sustainable. Many careers connected to the arts require people to create opportunities, build services, develop audiences, and learn how to turn talent into consistent work.

At Studio817, this belief comes to life through the Studio817 Business Accelerator Program, a six-month experience designed for creative instructors, movement professionals, and arts-based entrepreneurs who are ready to move beyond borrowed space and begin building something of their own. Participants receive affordable access to studio space, hands-on business support, and targeted funding opportunities that help them grow offerings, host community experiences, and formally establish their work.

By providing space, mentorship, and real financial opportunity, the accelerator helps creative entrepreneurs strengthen sustainable income while contributing to cultural vitality and community wellness in Arlington’s Downtown Cultural Arts District.

Applications for our 2nd cohort are LIVE! They are reviewed on a rolling basis. This cohort will be accepting 5 entrepreneurs and will begin on June 15, 2026 or when filled.
